Sofia 16-18. May 2025. The SALUS research initiative met in Sofia at NBU with the aim of revolutionizing support for people with intellectual disabilities by developing an AI-powered, scalable training platform designed to improve basic social skills.

The platform aims to significantly improve three core areas that often limit social participation and independence: social perception, emotional intelligence, and conflict resolution.
At the heart of the system is a clinically validated system that uses advanced artificial intelligence to deliver personalized, culturally adaptable training via common digital devices. This initiative responds directly to the growing demand for technology-enabled, evidence-based solutions that promote inclusion and employability in vulnerable populations.
