Prof. Dr. Ralf Seepold, Sara Campanella, and Daniel V\u00e9lez at HTWG Campus<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cooperation aims to improve treatment outcomes and quality of life for children with Type 1 diabetes by developing intelligent systems that personalize insulin therapy in real time. Central to the research is the integration of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) devices and insulin pumps with machine learning algorithms that dynamically adjust insulin delivery to the specific needs of each patient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to glucose and insulin data, the initiative incorporates external factors, such as physical activity, sleep, stress levels, and lifestyle habits, all of which significantly impact diabetes management.
