<\/figure>\n\n\n\nCancer has an exceptional prevalence in the southern regions of Spain and Portugal. It is striking that national borders play a role in some types of cancer, which suggests that environmental influences, political guidelines, and lifestyle habits have an impact. A cancer atlas is currently available, compiled from extensive statistical analyses of both countries. Artificial intelligence helps to effectively recognize connections between complex systems such as health, the environment, or political guidelines by analyzing existing data and identifying potential interactions. In this event, stakeholders are brought together to learn from each other and, as a result, build a network initiative to promote future research, new curricula in universities, patient-centered exchanges, and discuss strategies for designing resilient systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The proposed activity is based on publications from the Spanish government, the Andalusian regional government, and the Spanish Association Against Cancer. The long-term studies show a prevalence of cancer in the southern regions of Spain and Portugal. The question of why severe respiratory diseases, in particular, occur in these regions remains largely unanswered. The event shows new ways in modern medicine for the long-term monitoring of large patient groups. It supports the modeling of complex systems using AI and the identification of interactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
